CHILD GLAD FOR DOG
Thankful That "Gyp" Escaped Motor Accident
The State, Columbia, SC - November 23,  1922

Greenwood, Nov. 22 - "Well, I am glad Gyp wasn't with us." little Billy Morgan sighed thankfully yesterday afternoon, as she was rescued from the wreckage of a closed car, which plunged over a 15 foot embankment into Hard Labor creek, with the little girl, her sister, Annie Lee Morgan and Mrs. A. T. Jamison, wife of Dr. A. T. Jamison, superintendent, Gyp is the frisky fox terrier that is the playfellow of the two little girls.

Beyond slight bruises, Mrs. Jamison and the two children received no injuries in the plunge which wrecked the car. The first thought of the youngest child was for the safety of her pet dog.
