Chesley Davis and his son, William C. Davis, have both died recently, leaving a good name to their posterity. William
C. Davis married Sarah Loftus, and their daughters, Mrs. Dr. Pinckney Johnson and Mrs. W. W. Riser, "will
rise up and call them blessed."
