Their residence was situated on Indian Creek, ten miles north of the town of Newberry, on the Buncombe Road. They had four daughters Lucinda, the eldest, married Meredith Freeman, of North Carolina. Mary married Robert Campbell, the father of John B. Campbell, of Jalapa. Maria Marion married Andrew Turner. Frances, the yougest, married John T. Boyd.
