StBethMt. Pilgrim was organized on February 22, 1880 by the Rev. J. D. Bowles. A. H. Miller donated 4 acres to the new church. It was dedicated in 1885 and used for forty years. In 1934, a new building was erected and is still being used. It became self supporting in 1965.
