O'Neal Street Methodist Church was organized in 1891 as 'Second Methodist' and named as such because of it's location (the street was named for John Belton O'Neall). The name change from 'Second Methodist' to O'Neal Street Methodist came about in 1895. The Rev. S. A. Nettles was the first pastor. |
