Pomaria-Garmany School

The first Mt. Bethel Academy frame school building was created by the Methodists in 1877 on George Lane Place on the Wendt farm and lasted until 1919. During the summer of 1919 Mt. Bethel, Garmany, and McCreery Schools were consolidated into one school called the Mt. Bethel-Garmany School with M. Cromer superintendent. Three teachers in 1920 taught 69 students.

Mt. Bethel Garmany School - before May 7, 1915 as the school was destroyed by a tornado on that date (see news story). 

Current School - 2006

Pomaria Grammar School - year unknown but it looks like it's in the new school
