Pomaria Lutheran Church was established in the village of that name in 1910 with twenty-four members by Rev. J. J. Long. He came from the congregation of Bethlehem. A building was erected in 1911 and served that congreation till 1955 when the present brick building was erected. By 1969 the church was self supporing
