Stein-Bobb Family Cemetery
Pomaria, Newberry County, South Carolina

Cemetery is approximetely 3/4 mile off of Jollystreet Road onto Old Jollystreet, then 1/4 mile off Old Jollystreet Road (left side, into the timber), Pomaria, SC.  Cemetery is located on private property, permission needed to enter.  The cemetery appeared to be divided into three sections (or more)  with each facing a different direction.  Only field stones were present to mark each grave except that of Henry Stone (Nby. County Cemetery Book, Vol 1 has his marker listed as Henry Stein).  There are several (approximetely 10 or so) field stones without names or dates.  Just before entering the road that leads to the cemetery, several stones lay, as if this was the old homestead.  Apparently Old Jollystreet Road ran  more to the left than it does now, having  gone closer to the cemetery at that time.

If you have additonal information you can add to this family, the cemetery or anything else, please e-mail me. Surveyed by Dena Thomason-Whitesell with additional information provided by B. Cousins, a Bobb/Stein/Stone researcher.
