PICKENS COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS
 
Full name: ELISHA DABNA DUNCAN.  Present post office: Carrollton, Ala; Was born on Feb. 25 1839 in the county of Union Dist. in the state of SC; first entered the service as private on June 1861 at Carrollton, Ala. in the Co. H. 11th Ala. and continued until surrender.  Paroled at Appomatox.

Full name: JACOB JAMES FOSTER.  Present post office: Prairie Point, Miss.; Was born on June 6, 1846 in the county of Union in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on spring 1863 at Macon, Miss. in the Co. B., Perrens Miss. Cav. and continued until surrender 1865

Full name: ROBERT JAMES HUGHES.  Present post office: Pickensville, Ala.; Was born on June 19, 1837 in the county of Union in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on May 5, 1861 at Pickensville, Ala. in the Pickensville Blues Co. C and Co. H., and continued until captured Apr 2, 1865 - Paroled at Surrender

Full name: WILLIAM ROBERT LANCASTER.  Present post office: McShan, Ala.; Was born on 15 Mch 1840 at Glenn Springs in the county of Union in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on 2nd Apr 1862 at Carrollton, Ala. in the Co. B., 40th Ala. and continued until May 1865. Was captured at Vicksburg 4 July 1863.

Full name: JOHN TYLER MCSHAN. Present post office: McShan Ala., Was born on 5 Oct 1844 in the county of Union Dist. in the state of SC; First entered the service as private on 8 Nov. 1861 in Mobile, Ala. in the Co. C 24 Ala. and continued until captured Dec. 15, 1864.  Discharged from prison 15 May 1865 - wounded at Chattanooga

Full name: CAREY SPILLER.  Present post office: Carrollton, Ala; Was born on 22 Feb. in the county of Union in the state of SC; first entered the service as private on Apr 1861 at Carrollton, Ala., in the Co. L. 41 Ala and continued until captured May 6, 1865 - in prison at surrender

WALKER COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Full Name:  GABBERT, THOMAS LEANDER   Present post office address:  Jasper, Ala.  Was born on February 3, 1834 at Union Court House in the county of Union District in the state of South Carolina; first entered the service as private on Sept. 6, 1862 at Jasper, Ala. in the Company G. (Shepherds) 56th Ala. Calvary and continued until close of war.  We were with Johnstonís army when it surrendered and came back into Georgia and were paroled at Forsythe Ga. May 8, 1865

WINSTON COUNTY ALABAMA 1907 CONFEDERATE CENSUS

Barnet, Joseph Earl: Present Post office address: Double Springs, Alabama; born 15 Feb 1822 at Pendleton Court House in Union District South Carolina; first entered the service as Private in Apr 1862 at Montgomery, Alabama in Hilliard's Legion Company C and continued until 1865, when I was paroled at Greensboro, North Carolina. Hilliard's Legion was combined with another division and formed the 10th Alabama Cavalry Company C; have Parole. ( died Jan 19 1913)
