TWO OCCASIONS MARK 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY OF TYNDALL COUPLE

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Bangert

Residences: lived 10 miles sw of Tyndall, in 1944 retired and moved into Tyndall.

Golden Wedding celebration, open house at their home and another celebration at the First Baptist Church (Avon)

Hosts: Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bangert (son) (he took over the home farm)

Married: March 19, 1902.

Maiden name of wife: Louisa M. Voigt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Voigt.  The Voights lived in Tyndall all their lives.

Mr. Bangert is 73, Mrs. Bangert is 68.

SILVER WEDDING DATE OF TYNDALL PAIR OBSERVED

 

Occasion: 25th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hovorka (Hattie Bouska)

Card party and lunch at their farm on Dec. 29.

Marriage: St. Leo's rectory.  Clergy: Rev. M. E. Dooley

9 children.

OPEN HOUSE HELD BY AVON COUPLE ON WEDDING DATE

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ben Unruh, 55th anniversary

Open house at Mennonite Church on "Sunday"

Also celebrated Mr. Unruh's 80th birthday

He has lived in his present home for 76 years.
