A new town has been laid out by the Northwestern railroad company on the Yankton-Centreville line about ten miles west of Centreville, and has been named Wakonda. It has already been platted, and the lots will be placed on the market in about ten days. Lots, it is stated, will be sold from about $100 to $150 each. Daniel Powers, the agent of the Northwestern company at Centreville, Dakota, will have charge of the sale of the property for the present, and will give all the information desired in regard to the new town.
