Clark, Nov. 3 -- Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Dickey of Clark, residents here for the past 51 years, celebrated their golden wedding this past week. An anniversary dinner was given in their honor in the home of their daughter, Mrs. A. J. MacAlpine, in Clark.
Mr. and Mrs. Dickey are among the earliest residents of Clark. Mr. Dickey spent his boyhood near St. Mary's, Ontario, Canada, and lived on a farm near Bristol for a few years after coming to Dakota. He came to Clark in 1885 and worked in many of the early business places when Clark was a little frontier way station.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Dickey are in good health and are active members of their community. Mr. Diuckey is employed as manager of the city gas plant, a position he has held since the plant began operation in 1904. His age is 81.

The friends and acquaintances of Edward W. Taylor, of Webster, S.D., will be surprised to learn that he was married the first of the year to Miss Mary Stenerson, of Menomonie, Wis. The wedding was a very quiet one, and the parties left immediately for their South Dakota home. Ed., as he is better known here, is an ambitious young lawyer and is rapidly making his way to the front of the profession. He has many friends here who will wish him much joy in his new estate.
