Bowdle – Miss Agnes Brakemeyer, daughter of Rev. G. L. Brakemeyer, and Adolph Thurn of Buffalo, S. D., were married by the bride’s father in the Congregational parsonage last Tuesday evening. Both young people are well known in this community. Miss Brakemeyer was one of the popular teachers in the Bowdle schools. Mr. Thurn is a United States mail carrier.

Ipswich – Miss Mabel Mern of Chicago, formerly of Aberdeen, and Stanley Bruce of Ipswich, were united in marriage in Chicago on July 26. An acquaintanceship formed in Aberdeen several years ago resulted in the marriage which took place two weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce will be at home to their many friends in Chicago.

Ipswich – Miss Nellie Cochran and Frank Miller were quietly married by Rev. Godfrey Matthews Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Ipswich – At the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Q. W. Finch, their youngest daughter, Viola, was united in matrimony with David F. James. Only the immediate members of the families were present.
After an extended honeymoon in the east they will return to Ipswich to live. The groom is cashier of the bank of Ipswich.
