JERAULD FARM COUPLE OBSERVES GOLDEN WEDDING

Wessington Spring - Mr. and Mrs. Ben Weber of southwest of town celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Sunday afternoon in the Bethlehem Lutheran church parlors with open house from two to four o'clock. About 70 relatives and friends attended and remembered them with gifts, cards and silver coins.
Mrs. Albert Kludt Sr., assisted in serving and Ebenezer Baptist Ladies' Aid had charge of the kitchen. Mrs. J. J. Wahl presided at the dcoffee service. The serving table was lighted by silver tapers and cenetered with the three-tiered cake. Mrs. Roy Wahl had charge of the guest book and Mrs. Lawrence Weber the gifts.
Rev. Walter Sukut, Ebenezer pastor, officiated at a short program and gave a short talk, which was followed by prayer by Rev. Judson McClure, local Baptist minister. Miss Erma Kludt read an appropriate poem.
The honored couple had their family with them for the day: Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weber, Lane; and Pvt. Lester Weber, on leave from Ft. Sill, Okla.
