Location:
SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 35, Township 41N, Range 29W. South Unorganized Township

History:
The patent for Bear Looks Behind Cemetery was issued by President Calvin Coolidge on 27 April 1927 to a chapter of Calvary Cathedral.

Carl Johnson, the WPA cemetery surveyor (1940), reports: "The Bear Looks Behind Cemetery is an abandoned cemetery and was not meant for any regular cemetery. There is no fence around it and probably never has been. The four graves are on top of a high hill close to the highway. Isaac Bear Looks Behind told me that the only reason that these burials had not been made in a regular cemetery is because these people had never been baptized and were not to be buried with the regular church memebers."
