Location:
Section 34, Township 42N, Range 29W - South Unorganized Township

History:
This cemetery is used and well fenced. Some of the graves are in rows but the rest are placed at random. The road getting to the cemetery is steep and rutted. The cemetery is located west of White River just off Highway 44.

The cemetery was first used in 1894 for the burial of Irene Bordeaux. Her sister Lena was the second burial when she died in 1896.

The cemetery was organized in 1902 by Father Dugan and a patent was issued 3 March 1909 by President William H. Taft to the Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions.

My thanks to Father Gau for sharing the cemetery records with me.
