Conde – Announcements have been received here of the marriage of Clare Vernon Smith a former Conde boy who has numerous relatives here, to Miss Nellie P. Brown on August 7. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Brown, at Merton, Wis. The young couple will make their home at Rhinelander, Wis.

NORTHVILLE – Raymond Brown and Bessie B. Peterson were quietly married in Aberdeen on election day unknown to their many friends. They will live in Northville.

Frankfort – Miss Hazel Ona Wilson and Manley M. Miller were married here June 20.

Redfield – Miss Abigail Corley and William F. McMullen, both of Huron, were married August fifth by Rev. Eubanks of the Episcopal church. The young people left for Watertown for a short visit before proceeding to Huron, where they will make their home.

Northville – Mrs. Tamer W. Hayes of St. Paul and Ira G. Hunstad were married Monday, Sept. 4 by Rev. McGovern. They will make their home in Northville where the groom is engaged in business.

Northville – Miss Nora Batteen and C. Richard Abrams were married Tuesday evening, Sept. 5, at Aberdeen, and are spending a few days at the Minnesota State fair.

Brentford – Married, at Aberdeen, Miss Lena Daves to Thos. A. Madison. Mr. Madison will leave soon with his company from Bedfield for the mobilization camp in the south.

The marriage of William Hoyt and Mrs. Martha Evans took place at Redfish Saturday. A large party of friends accompanied them to their home at Ashton and held forth in merry-making until a late hour.

Redfield – Theodore VanTassel, of Stillwater, Minn., and Miss Mabel Fryer of Doland, were married here Saturday, Sept. 16, by Rev. Hurt, of the Methodist church. The young couple will make their home with the bride’s parents on a farm southeast of Doland.

Redfield – Cards have been received here telling of the marriage of Miss Ruth Jaynes to Mr. Ward Drake at Kenyon, Minn., recently. Both young people are well known to Spink county people, Miss Jaynes being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Jaynes who formerly resided on a farm out of Redfield, and the groom as second eldest of the Drake boys, who also resided on a farm near Redfield.
