02 June 1882 - Richard Mullins, et al, Deed to James Mullins
For the consideration of the sum of forty two dollars to each of us paid. Except Sidney Stacy, to who has been paid $14.00. We, the undersigned this day, deed and convey to James Mullins the undivided remainder interest that we have in the following tract of land to wit. Situated in the 22nd Civil District, Bedford County, Tennessee, on the headwaters of Flat Creek, and which said James mullins now lives, it being the dower of Phoebe Mullins, the widow of Richard Mullins, deceased, and we covenant with the said James Mullins that we are lawfully possessed of said land and that we have a right to convey the same by virtue of heirship, we being legal heirs of Richard Mullins, ___who died ____of said lands, and that our interest in the same is one eighth each and we warrant the title against all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof we have herunto set our hands and seals this the 2nd day of June 1882.
