- The funeral of Miss Hattie Belle Moseley, well known educator of Dallas, Texas, was held at the home of her sister, Mrs Sallie Smalling in Bell Buckle Saturday. Her death was a shock to her relatives and friends there, since she had been in apparently normal health. Mrs Annie Couch, her sister with whom she lived, went into her room and found Miss Moseley unconscious. The physicians pronounced death due to cerebral hemorrhage. She was the daughter of Col and Mrs Tom G. Moseley and was reared in Bell Buckle. She was an aunt of Misses Carrie and Louise Moseley, connected with Ward-Belmont. Her brother, Ed Moseley, promient financier and ranchman, died in Texas a month ago. Miss Moseley had been prominent in club and church work in Texas. The following sisters survive her; Mrs Bettie Snow, wife of a well known Tennessee Baptist minister. Mrs Sallie Smalling of Bell Buckle. Mrs Tommie Muxen of Chattanooga, Mrs Annie Couch of Dallas and Mrs Minnie Fine of San Antonio, Miss Sadie Frizzell, Secretary of Webb School is a niece.

MARY ANN (HART) MULLINS
90, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Sam Mullins, near Mount Hermon. She was the widow of Richard Mullins, who died many years ago. She had been a member of the Baptist church for 76 years (Joined by experience August 1856) and was beloved by a wide circle of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home of her son, Sam Mullins, thursday morning, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Gore of Wartrace, followed by burial in the cemetery nearby.
