JOHNNY WILEY NELMS
- Funeral services for John Riley Nelms, aged 80 years, who died at his home
near Richmond, was held Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Richmond by Eld.
Clyde Gleaves, assisted by Eld. D. D. Woody.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Davis Nelms; one daughter, Mrs.
Robert L. Moore, of Talley Station; two granddaughters; three
great-granddaughters; a brother, Jim Nelms, of Petersburg, and one sister,
Mrs. Mary Farrar, of Richmond.
Burial was in the Richmond Cemetery.

MATILDA KATHERINE (SNELL) NANCE
died last Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Moore, after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Moore Saturday. Rev. N.B. Tucker of Nashville assisted by Rev. Edgar Couser, officiated. The remains were laid to rest in the Russell graveyard. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Jesse Moore, Belfast; Mrs. Carney Thomas, Akron, Ohio, and Vance Nance of Shelbyville. Three brothers, Dr. A. F. Snell, Jim Snell and Charley Snell. Mrs. Vance was a member of the Knight's Camp Ground, M.E. church
