Decree setting up Will. Wife not named. Berry C. Owens Will, 9 DEC 1861. Son Thomas B. Owens gets gold watch. Fanny M. Owens under 21 years. Garrett Woodly Owens under 18 years. Berry C. Owen departed this life in Bedford County, Tennessee in December 1861 and his will was presented in Court January Term 1862 by Richard H. Sims. Proven by J. P. Wilhoite and John Rollins. Owns land in Alabama. Guardian N. Thompson, 2nd, a neighbor, is to be guardian of Faney M. and Garret Woodly Owens. Guardian George W. Buchanan as guardian on Thomas B. Owens.

Codicil: 9 December 1861. Faney M. Owens gets painting of himself. Also, Thomas B. Owens gets a painting of himself.
