Mayor of Camden; born in Trigg County, Ky., Nov. 5, 1872; occupation, merchant; Scotch - Irish descent; son of Thomas K. and Martha Higgins Flynn; paternal grandparent Patrick Henry Flynn; maternal grandparents Jackson and Rachel (Hubbard) Higgins. Attended the public schools of Kentucky. Republican; Mason. Elected mayor of Camden in June 1937; had previously served as mayor for one term; engaged in the general mercantile business where he has for many years been an outstand­ing leader in all civic and public affairs.
