LINDA LOU (HOLT) NELMS
- A service was conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden for former Camden resident Linda Lou Nelms of Paris.
Jerry Dale officiated. Burial followed in Camden City Cemetery.
She was married to Flavel Lloyd Nelms Jr., who survives.
Born Oct. 9, 1945, in Fentress County, she was a daughter of Orden and Lois Reagan Holt, both deceased.
She also leaves one daughter: Elisabeth (Dale) Blythe of Paris; two sons: John Douglas Nelms and Thomas B. Nelms Jr., both of Camden; one brother: George Holt; two sisters: Nancy Gass and Sharon Robertson; and two grandchildren: Megan Cole and Taylor Nelms.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters: Betty Holt and Shirley Harris

THOMAS GREEN NORDEN
- Funeral services for Thomas Green Norden, age 75, of Bruceton, were held Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel in Camden, with Bro. Jerry Hollingsworth officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery. Mr. Norden passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1931, in Camden to the late Houston and Ollie Weathers Norden. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Norden and a brother, James Norden. Survivors include his wife, Nellie Williams Norden, of Bruceton; two daughters, Joyce Nunnery, of Buena Vista and Patricia Hollingsworth, of Bruceton; a son, Terry Norden, of Bruceton; two brothers, William Norden, of Bruceton and Henry Norden, of Camden and two grandsons, Phillip Walker, of Michigan and Brandon Barker, of Buena Vista.

MARTHA ANN (CANTRELL) NOSS
- Retired office manager Martha Anne Cantrell Noss, 83, of Paris, died Monday, July 7, 2008, at her residence.
Her funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at East Wood Church of Christ in Paris, with David Alan Jackson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Craig and Ron Brown, Lavelle Davidson, Brian Foster, Rick Moody and Russell Noss.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Quota club, Blossomway Garden Club and Parisian Iris and Daylily Club. She was a member of all three of those clubs.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at McEvoy Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.
Born Feb. 3, 1925, in the Sugar Tree community in Benton County, she was a daughter of the late William Ray and Flossie Odle Cantrell.
She was formerly married to Virgil R. Noss, who died in 2001.
A longtime member of East Wood Church of Christ, she was a graduate of Draughon's Business College in Nashville. As an office manager, she worked at Carey Counseling Center, WTPR radio, Holley carburetor plant and Grove High School.
She also did volunteer work with Henry County Archives and the Lifeline Blood Center. Named Quotarian of the Year for 1999-2000, she was an avid gardener and reader and collected antique dolls.
Survivors include two sons: Michael Virgil (Cindy) Noss of Paris and William Wesley "Bill" Noss; two sisters: Mary Sue (Alvin) Lane of Nashville and Betty L. Cloyd of Gallatin; a brother: Robert Ray "Bob" (Anna) Cantrell of Navarre, Fla.;
Five grandchildren: Russell K. (Amanda) Noss of Frankfort, Ind.; Melissa (Chris) Turnbo of Trenton; Stephanie Noss of Walpole, Mass.; and Andrew and Anthony Lamb; and five great-grandchildren: Hunter, Summer and Taylor Noss and Dylan and Natalie Baynes.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Arthur David Cantrell, and a son, Ronald Ray Noss, who died in infancy in 1949.
Memorials may be made to East Wood Church of Christ, Blossomway Garden Club, Parisian Iris and Daylily Club or Quota club.
