County Judge of Carroll County; born in Carroll County on Sept. 27, 1886; Scotch-Irish; married Mary Ardie Holmes on Oct. 8, 1908; son of James H. Bramley and Sue A. McKinney; paternal grandparents James P. & Dullie (Smith) Bramley; maternal grandparents Ralph McKinney and Mary Carter.
Attended the public schools of Carroll County; a member of the Methodist Church; a Democrat; Maccabees. Judge Bramley is one of the countys leading citizens taking an active interest in all civic affairs which better the community.
In 1935 he served in the TN State Senate and was one of the most popular members of that body. He was appointed to the most important committees and was a leader in important legislature. He is also a leading businessman of the COunty.
In July 1935 he was elected by the County Court a Trustee, being the first Democrat to hold that office for 44 years. He is the father of two children - Mrs. Evelyn Bramley Carter of Atlanta and Carolyn of McLemoresville.
