Complainants against C. P. Coble, S. E. Coble, William Coble and James M. Coble, Richmond Dickson and Mary Ann Dickson, Zackariah Nash and Neuta Ann Nash, William Ewer & wife Martha M. Ewer, Frank Ewer, Mable, Ethel and Nettie Ewer all citizens of the State of Texas & non-residents of the State of Tennessee, And Minnie Coble a citizen of Carroll County & State of Tennessee Defts.
Complainants respectfull state to the Court that Hezekiah Cable departed this life at his home in Carroll county on the 27th day of June 1887 and that he died intestate.
Complainants state that at the time of his death he left his widow Martha Coble to whom Homestead and Dower has been regularly & legally assigned.
He left him surviving as his children & heirs the following named to wit:
S. D. Burrow formerly Coble who intermarried with F. S. Burrow.
Catharine Lankford formerly Coble who intermarried with M. D. Lankford.
A. P. Duke formerly Coble who intermarried with Jas D. Duke.
Mary Ann Dickson formerly Coble who intermarried with Richmond Dickson.
C. P. Coble
Salissa E. Coble
William Cable
James M. Coble.
Neuta Ann Nash formerly Coble who intermarried with Zackariah Nash.
Martha M. Ewer formerly Coble who intermarrried with William Ewer.
Leonia Z. Ewer now dead formerly Coble who married Frank Ewer & by him had three children to wit - Mable, Ethel, and Nettice Ewer, and Minnie Coble.
Complainants further state to the Court that the said Hezekiah Coble died seized & possessed of the following lands & real estate lying in Carroll County & in five separate tracts.

On motion and it appearing from the petition herein filed which is sworn to that the defendants Mabel Ewer, Ethel Ewer, F. Ewer, Nettie Ewer, C. P. Coble, S. E. Coble, William Coble, James M. Coble, Richmond Dickson, Mary Ann Dickson, Zachariah Nash, Neuta Ann Nash, William Ewer and wife, Martha M. Ewer are non-residents of the state of Tennessee so that the ordinary process of the law cannot be served upon them. It is therefore ordered that publication be made in the Tennessee Republican, a newspaper published at Huntingdon, Tenn., for four consecutive weeks, commanding said defendants to appear before said county court on Monday the 3rd day of December, 1888, and plead answer to or demur to complanants petition or the same will be taken for confessed as to them and set for hearing exparte.
