Will of William Flewellin
In the name of God, Amen. I William Flewellin of the County fo Carroll and State of Tennessee, being Weak in body and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty God for the same), do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, in manner anf form following. (that is to say) First I will that all my just debts be paid Out of my estate, I also will and bequeath to my Son Shaderick Flewellin the negro Girl Harriett which I have heretofore given him, also my negro boy Henry and my negro boy John at my decease I also will and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Boren my negro Girl Mary and my negro boy Alfred which I have heretofore given her. I also give & bequeath to my daughter Nancey Nanee my negro girl Charity which I have heretofore given her. I also give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Flewellin all the ballance of my negroes land house hold and Kitchen furniture with all my stock and farming utensills with all my other property and money not above willed during her natural life and at her decease to be sold by my executor on a credit of twelve months and out of the monies arising from said sale. I will that my son Harbert Flewellin have one hundred dollars and my grandson Nicholas H. Darnell have seventy five dollars, and I will that all the ballance or residue arising fromsaid sale be equally divided into three equal parts of which I will that my son Shaderick Flewellin have one part of said division and I also will that my Daughter Elizabeth Boren have one other part of said division and I also will that my Grandson Nicholas H Darnell and my granddaughter Milberry Shackelford have the other part of said division equally divided between them. I also will that the hundred dollars which I have above willed to my son Harbert Flewellin if he should be dead or niver apply the same be for the beenefit and and use of my Son Shaderick Flewellin, I hereby appoint my son Shaderick Flewellin my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 16th day of July A.D., 1827.

I, William Flewellin, did some four or five years past make my last will and in that will I left N. H. Darnell and his sister Milberry Shackelford about one hundred & fifty dollars or thereabouts which some of money or gift I have paid to said Darnell & Sister Milberry Shackelford by giving them about Six hundred and fifty dollars in cash one Two years ago, though I have no charges against them Only the money I left them in my will as I dont want to alter my will no charge as to the six hundred and fifty dollars I gave them.
