U.S. Government employee; born in Chester Co. Tenn., August 24, 1912; Scotch-English descent; Son of E.R. Wheatley & Carrie Been; father's occupation, contractor; maternal grandparent, William Been. Attended public schools of Chester County; Business Course, West Tenn. Business College 1931; member of Christian Church; Democrat; Mason; Royal Arch. Mr. Wheatley was employed by the Federal land bank in the capacity of abstractor. He is now employed by the U.S. Goverment in the department of Agriculture, being located at Henderson Tenn. His great-uncle Marshall Stone was former governor of Mississippi. He is the former president of the Young Democrats Club of Chester County. Hi hobby is hard work.
