This memorial was created as a result of
Mr. Arch Jones, a veteran himself, who sent us photos of the Purple Heart Medal and the papers of Herman Daniel Scott.
Mr Jones acquired these things at an auction. So although this precious medal is no longer in the hands of the family, it is our hope that the man who earned it will
never be forgotten. Herman Daniel Scott gave his all for us - we can now honor and thank him, for his sacrifice. We also thank
Amanda Jowers who went out to the cemetery to
get the headstone photo. If anyone has a memory of Herman they would like to share be sure and let us know.
