ANNIE HART
- Services for Mrs. Annie Hart were Thursday at George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Dale Mills officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chester County. Mrs. Hart, 84, died early Wednesday morning at Jackson Hospital. She was born in Henderson County and had lived at Beech Bluff for 25 years. She was a Baptist. She leaves a son, Leon Hart of Beech Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Powers of Tampa FL and Mrs. Rosetta Willis of Memphis, a grandson and a great-grandaughter. RAY EDWARD HAZLEGROVE
- Services for Ray Edward Hazlegrove, 73, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Bolivar. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Chester County. Mr. Hazlegrove, a truck driver for Northside Lumber, an engineer at Harman Automotive and a welder at Greene's Welding, died Monday at Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, S.C., of lung disease. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Hazlegrove of Beaufort, S.C.; a daughter and a son, Vonda Crawford of Beaufort, S.C., and Rickey Hazlegrove of Bolivar.

DENVER LADELL HEARN
, age 44, died Friday, November 2, 2001 in the emergency room of Jackson General Hospital, after suffering a heart attack in Henderson. Mr. Hearn was born and reared in Henderson, the son of Imogene Knipper Hearn and the late William.

LINDA NELL (FRY) HODGE
, age 58, a cook at Bethel Springs Elementary School, died Saturday afternoon, December 8, 2001 at Jackson General Hospital as the result of her car being swept from Hwy. 64 west of Selmer during the flash flooding of November 29th.
THOMAS WILLIAM HODGES,
a Henderson man was burned to death early Monday (December 19, 1966) in a fire at Neisler Motel here. Police Chief Hicks Connally said Thomas William Hodges, 49 year old carpenter, apparently was smoking in bed when the mattress caught on fire. The body was found partially under the bed. County Coroner Al Stanford said death was due to asphixiation. He said the mattress was completely burned up. Chief Connally said officers were summoned shortly after 8 a.m. He said the man had checkd in his room about 4 p.m. Sunday. Fire damage was confined to the motel room. Services were Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home in Henderson with burial in Unity Cemetery near Middlefork. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Hodges of Henderson; two brothers, Cecil E. Hodges of Parsons and Paul Hodges of Wichita Falls TX and a sister Mrs. Dewayne Segerson of Henderson.
JOHN DAVID HOLDER,
- Services for David Holder 33 will be at 2 p.m. today at the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in Jacks Creek. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery in Jacks Creek. Mr. Holder an auto worker at Nissan Motors in Smyrna died Sunday at his residence of cancer. He is survived by his wife Greta Holland Holder of Jacks Creek; his daughters Tiffany Renae Holder and Kristina Lafae Holder both of Jacks Creek; and his son Teddy Ray Holder of Jacks Creek. He is also survived by his father Charles Ray Holder of Belmont Miss.; his mother Joyce Baldwin of Scotts Hill; his sister Diane Wicker of Bath Springs; his brothers Timmy Holder of Fort Myers Fla. and Johnny Baldwin of Scotts Hill; and his stepbrothers Wade Pardue Tony Pardue and Bobby Pardue all of Mississippi. WILLIE MAE (KIRKPATRICK) SMITH HOLMES
- Funeral services for Mrs. Willie May Holmes, 45, were held on Wednesday afternoon at Cave Springs Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Casey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Holmes died on December 2, 1968 of a brain tumor, at the Proctor General Hospital in Peoria IL. She resided in Washington IL and was employed at a plastic factory there. Mrs. Holmes was born and reared in Chester County and had lived in IL for the past 12 years. She was reared by her uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Garner in the Hickory Corner Community. She had been in poor health for the past 3 years. Surviving are her husband Curtis Holmes and a son Ron Smith both of Washington IL.
