KENNETH PAGE, SR. , was born October 5, 1935 in Huron, TN. Mr. Page passed away at the age of 72 on December 6, 2007 at 2:15PM at his residence in Luray, TN, where he resided with his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Jeanette Nissen Page. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lessie Page. He is the brother of Ocie Mae Hancock of Enville, TN, Aucie Page of Huron, TN, Amos Page of Luray, TN, Nettie Jones of Henderson, TN, Charles Page of Lexington, TN, and James Robert Page of Luray, TN. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette, two sons, Kenneth JR. Page of Schaumburg, IL and Keith Page of Sardis, TN, and seven daughters, Deborah Frane of Torrance, CA, Jeannine Boncimino of Luray, TN, Sheila Scheidt of Boca Raton, FL, Julie Cole of Spring Hill, TN, Kary Dunning of Streamwood, IL, Kristine Hood of Bono, AR, and Catherine Keck of Luray, TN. He was the grandfather of 29 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Kenneth Page was the owner of Concrete Construction Company in IL and retired on his parents home place in Luray, TN, twelve years ago. He was loved by many and will be extremely missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral services were in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington, TN on Monday, December 10, 2007 with Pastor Dudley Hart and Pastor Bobby Beecham officiating. Burial followed in New Mifflin Cemetery.

EVIE ROSE ANN (SMITH) PATTERSON , 94, of Henderson died Sept. 7, 2006, at Chester County Healthcare of complications from a fall at home in February. Funeral services were held Sept. 9 from the Chapel of Leon Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Henderson City Cemetery. She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of Thomas Moses and Margaret Jane Smith. She attended school in McNairy County. She married Vaudie Patterson in 1927, and they made their home in McNairy and Chester counties. They operated a grocery store on Front Street in Henderson in the 1940s, and she also worked at Salant and Salant. After her husband’s death in 1959, she established, and owned and operated Patterson’s Cloth Shop for 20 years. She was nutrition site supervisor for the Chester County Senior Center for nine years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was active in the senior activities and Betty Roaten WMU Organization. She was active in the Senior Citizens’ Center and participated in the senior games. She was named Senior Miss Chester County at the annual Barbecue Festival.

She is survived by a son and a daughter, Thomas Gwendell Patterson and Linda Patterson, both of Henderson; a sister, Dona Webster of Henderson; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Francis Patterson; brothers, Kent Smith, Buck Smith, and two infant brothers; and sisters, Marena Davis, Leeora Loftin and Alana Smith.

JEFFERY ALLEN PATTERSON , loving husband, father and grandfather, age 52, died Sunday (June 8, 2008) at his home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Broad Street Church of Christ where Jeffery was a member and served as a deacon. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. He was employed at TBDN in Jackson for 15 years, Element Aluminum for 3 years and presently employed with AMS in Lexington. He is survived by his wife, Jan Priddy Patterson; three sons, Joshua (Kristy) Patterson, Jake (April) Patterson and Jon Patterson all of Lexington; three sisters, Judy Melton, Janice (Gary) Jones of Lexington and Joy (Bud) Thomason of Huntingdon; three brothers Tommy (Janice) Patterson of Luray, Jimmy (Connie) Patterson of Lexington, and Joel (Wendy) Patterson of Lancaster SC; four grandchildren, Eli and Grant Patterson and Layla and Tyler Beecham; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Nelle Priddy and sister-in-law Ginger (Kevin) Bankston.

EDITH (RHODES) PHILLIPS - Services for Mrs. Edith Phillips are today, October 1, 1997 at Leon Johnson Funeral Home with burial in Unity Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips, 84, died Monday, September 29, 1997 at her home in Memphis. She was a former resident of Henderson County and retired from Salant and Salant. She was the widow of L.T. Phillips. She leaves a daughter Cornelia Richardson of Memphis and three grandchildren.
