English Caldwell
Year’s Support for EMILY ANN CALDWELL, Widow of ENGLISH CALDWELL,
deceased All the corn and bacon on hand, all the hogs on hand, all the growing
crop on hand
We, the Commissioners, are of the opinion that there is not a sufficient amount
to support the widow and family one year from the death of her husband. We,
therefore, set apart all the household and kitchen furniture, and all other
species of property that she is in possession of; also a claim that is due
Caldwell for his attendance as a witness at Knoxville in a case of the State vs
Dale, supposed to be over twenty dollars. Given under our hands this 29th day of
June 1849.
