Jane Norvell – small cupboard $1.50; trunk $.50; kettle $.50; pot and hooks $.25

Two slaves sold the 22nd of January 1850, one for $304.00; the other for $607.00. The sum of $311.26 was paid down and retained in the Chancery Court Clerk’s office to pay costs, and the remaining $599.74, the Administrator is chargeable with and no more.
