Meshack Bailey born in 1801, and died August 31, 1867, was married to Lucinda ( maiden name unknown). Lucinda was born December 2, 1891, and died in 1925. ( Note these dates are inaccurate) They are buried in the Wilson Cemetery in northern Decatur County. They had a son Alexander who married Jenetta Pepples. Jenetta was adopted by a Dr. and his wife. They were the parents of 3 children : Jim who married Rosa Fowler, Eldredge who married Anna Quinn and Elmer Lenora who married Issac Lewis Gibson. They are both buried in Suttles Cemetery north of Jeanette. (Note: Suttles Chapel markers give this information: T.A. Bailey 1851 - 1921, J. N. wife of T. A. 15 Aug 1854 - 30 Oct 1911, Sallie E. 8 Feb 1874 - 15 Feb 1876 , daughter of T. A. and J. N. - There were actually 4 children , another daughter named Sallie E.) Jim and Rosa had 2 children and moved to Gibson County. Eldredge and Anna had no children. They are buried at Prospect. Elmer Lenora was born 28 July 1879 and died 25 Feb 1936. Issac Lewis Gibson was born 12 May 1880 and died 18 June 1966. They are buried at Suttles Chapel. He was a farmer and blacksmith. They were the parents of 7 children.
