Judge Otto Milam
(County Judge of Decatur Co) Born at Decatur Co TN, March 23, 1885 of Irish descent, the son of W.G. Milam and Mollie (Fisher) Milam. Paternal grandparents; William Henry and Martha Ann (Warden) Milam; maternal grandparents; G.M. Fisher and Mary (Williams) Fisher. He attended public schools of Decatur Co.; Dickson Normal, (B.S.); Peabody; Cumberland University (LL.B.); and is a member of the Baptist Church; Republican. Mr. Milam was elected Co. Judge in August 1934 for an eight-year term. He is a member of the County Judges' Assoc. and takes a leading part in all civic affairs. He has been in the law business, farming business and stayed in the West seven years, and is an outstanding citizen of the Co. and State. His hobby is fishing and hunting.He takes an active interest in crippled children's work.
