ALFRED LYNCH MOORE
Alfred L.( son of Nathaniel and Margureth Moore) married
Caroline C. Stabaugh on 6 March 1836. She was born 16 October 1819 and died 5 July 1852.
He was born 1 May 1816 and died 17 August 1836. They had 2 daughters. Martha J. born 4 January 1837 and died 22 April 1882,
married Pleasant Carlisle. Mary B. born 28 March 1839 and died 5 August 1859, married a Mr. White.
After her death, he married Charity Abigail Bussel on 2 January 1853. She was born 18 July 1825 and died 11 April 1904.
She was the daughter of William Bussel and Judy Johnston, early settlers of what was known as Buselltown. Their children
were Julia A. born 7 January 1854 and died 24 August 1876, William B. born 16 July 1856 and died 13 February 1857,
Thomas Johnston Moore born 2 December 1857 and died 15 September 1930, John R. born 21 April 1859 and died 31 January 1882,
Margaret Glendura born 20 February 1862 and died 21 January 1948, James Madison born 12 April 1864 and died 27 November 1894,
and Emma J. born 13 December 1867 and died 28 August 1893. Margaret married John H. Swafford on 17 September 1878 and
Emma married John Kneaream on 11 November 1888. Alfred was a carpenter. In 1847, he entered a grant for a tract of land east
of his father's land.
James Madison was a minister and a teacher. He married Elizabeth Huckaby and they had one son, James Madison, Jr.
