TOMAS JOHNSTON MOORE
Thomas ( son of Alfred Lynch Moore) (born 2 December 1857)
married Mary Swafford on 23 November 1879. She was born 16 December 1855. Their children were
Lewis Alfred (12 Feb 1883) who married Lucy Ann Doughton,
William O. ( 12 July 1880 ),
Franklin L. ( 21 May 1884), and
Charlie C. ( 15 Mar 1886). The mother, Mary and sons William O., Franklin L, and Charlie C all died early and were buried at Perryville.
Thomas married a second time to Minera Elizabeth Gilbert on 25 December 1887. She was born 1 November 1869
and died 12 September 1935. Their children were
Robert Enloe ( 9 February 1889 - 24 October 1955) who married Lurline Buckner whose grandparents were one of the first families to settle in Parsons,
James Madison (13/28 February 1892 - 9 November 1970 ) who married Verna Bell Gilbert on 9 June 1918,
Thomas Jackson "Jack" ( 23 March 1894 )who married Jessie Ledbetter on 30 October 1927, Mittie Elizabeth
( 22 May 1898 - 1 April 1932 ) who married Claude F. Dillinger,
Zella Abigail ( 13 September 1901 ) who married William Maurice Davis on 20 June 1925,
Zula Carmen (29 May 1903 )who married Jess Franklin Readey,
John William ( 25 February 1906 )who married Helen Thompson in 1929,
Clarence Lee ( 12 April 1908 - 9 October 1972 ) who married first Hope Harrell on 22 December 1928 and then
Myrtis Erline Maxwell on 25 May 1944, Nina Belle born
and died 17 March 1912 ), and Jesse Rogers ( 28 July 1913 - 26 May 1926) .
