GRAYS CHAPEL

This cemetery seems to have been created in the mid 1960s across the road from Gray's Chapel Church but includes a child's grave from the 1940s. The church is indicated at the bottom of the U.S.G.S. Scotts Hill quadrangle (1986) and is labeled "Graves Chapel."
David Donahue recorded Gray's Chapel Cemetery June 27, 1991; updated it December 28, 1996; and checked and updated it July 8, 2004. Blanche Tuten and Margarett Alexander recorded Gray's Chapel Cemetery May 23, 1976, by. It appears, with an update as late as 1979, in Decatur County, Tennessee Cemetery Records produced by the Nathaniel A. Wesson Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Parsons, Tennessee, 1984, pp. 234-235.
