Wilkins Cemetery
This graveyard is on the government game refuge.
|
This cemeery was
indexed on March 18, 1980 by Margarett Alexander. The record of this cemetery would not be included in this book,
had it not been for the efforts of Tony Collett, Parker Collett, and Fred Alexander who gave generously of their
time and efforts to index it. Mr. Collett relates the story of his father showing him the graveyard about
25 years ago. He had not returned to it until today. He and Tony discussed going to it and offered to assist
the UDC in this way. Fred Alexander accompanied them. The three agreed that it would be most difficult for a woman
to have reached the graveyard, as they felt sure they had walked close to 4 miles. Many thanks to
Mr. Parker Collett and Tony Collett and Fred Alexander.
