This Indenture made the 9th day of November 1887 between Campbell Hill
and wife Eliza J. Hill of the one part of the County of Henderson State
of Tennessee & H.B. Reeves of the other part of the County of Decatur
State of Tennessee Witness that the Said C. Hill and Wife in consideration
of the Sum of Eight Hundred Dollars to be paid in two installments six
hundred dollars in cash Towit and one Note for two Hundred Dollars in Note
Bearing Interest for Which Promissory Note is Executed and Delivered hath
Bargained and Sold two thirds of a tract of a tract of land to wit Said
H B Reeves his heirs & assigns two thirds of a certain tract or Parcel of
land containing by Estimation 90 acres more or less Situated and Lying in
the County of Decatur on the waters of Cub Creek in the 12th Civil
District Beginning on a Birch and ash and beech Pointers on the West bank
of Cub Creek Runs South down the creek 120 poles more or less to the
Conditional line to a Stake on the west bank of cub creek thence East with
the conditional line to a white oak thence South 12 poles to Hickory
thence North East 24 poles to a Hickory in a Hollow Poplar pst East
boundary line of said land thence North 120 poles more or less to a White
Oak thence West to the Beginning to have and to hold Said parts of land
with its appurtenances ... title and Interest there unto Belonging to him
the Said H B Reeves his heirs and assigns for Ever and the Said Hill doth
hereby covenant with the Said Reeves his heirs & assigns that he is
lawfully Seized & possessed of Said parts of Said land in fee simple &
that he has a good right to convey the Same and the Said Hill & Wife doth
further warrant & by himself his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever
defend the title to said land to the Said Reeves his heirs and assigns
against all persons claiming under my title in testimony Whereof I my Self
& Wife Eliza J. Hill have hereunto Set our hands & Seals this the above

This indenture made the 30th day of September 1882 between Campbell Hill
of the 1st part and A.J. Hill of the other part both of the County of
Henderson and State of Tennessee Witnesseth that the Said C. Hill for and
in consideration of the Sum of Two Hundred and Seventy five Dollars to him
in the following Payments One Note by the Said A.J. Hill for the above
amount payable the 25th day of December 1882 Said note is dated with this
Covenent at or before the ensealing and delivering of this Deed the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged the said C. Hill and his heirs and Executors
and Administrators forever released and Dismissed from the Same by these
has granted bargained and Sold Conveyed and Conferred to the Said A.J. Hill
to his heirs and assigns all on the waters of Cub Creek in the 12th Civil
District of Decatur County Tennessee bounded as follows Beginning on the
East bank of Cub Creek as it was before the change was made to form the
Race for the mill Known as the old J.Q. Brewer Mill Site runs West 71 Poles
to a Sweet gum Beech Pointers thence 16 Poles to a Beech thence West 7
Poles to a sweet gum on the Bank of the Smith Branch the west boundary line
of J.W. Taylor thence North with Said line to the NW Corner of the Same
thence East with Said line to the NE Corner of the Same Said J.W. Taylor's
land to the West boundary line of N.J. Morgan's thence of with Said line
to the Beginning with all the privileges and appurtainences thereunto
belonging to have and to hold the aforesaid granted land to the Said A.J.
Taylor A.J. Hill & his heirs and assigns in fee Simple forever and I the
Said C. Hill for myself & my heirs Executors & Administrators do Covenant
with the Said A.J. Hill his heirs and assigns that I am Lawfully Seized in
fee of the aforesaid granted land that they are All free from all
incumbrences that I have a good right to Convey the Same to the Said A.J.
Hill as aforesaid and that I will forever defend the Same to the Said Asay
Hill his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful Claims of All persons
in witness I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the day and year aforesaid
