I Mary J. Riggs do transfer all my right and title that I have in a
tract of land in the State of Tennessee Decatur County District No 6
that belongs to heirs of John Loftin Deceased for the sum of one hundred
and ten Dollars paid to me in hand bounded as follows. Henry Flowers on
the West Riggs heirs on the South Starling Wallace on the East Joanna
Barnett on the North to have and to hold the same to the said T.J. Loftin
his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the said T.J. Loftin
that I am lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it,
and that the same is unencumbered I do further covenant and bind myself
my heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to
the said land and every part of it thereof to the said T.J. Loftin his
heirs and assigns whatever against the lawful claims of all persons
whatever this 22nd day of March A.D. 1875.

I S.W. Riggs have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and
convey to W.D. Colwick and his heirs forever for the consideration of
Four hundred Dollars to me in hand paid a tract of Land in the State of
Tennessee Decatur County in district No. 12 Containing by estimation 100
acres more or less and bounded as follows. Beginning at the N.W. corner
of J.T. Colwick land thence West Poles to a Stake thence South poles
to my South West corner, thence East Poles to the Creek of B F Cary line
to his North West corner, thence West with Said J.T. Colwick South line to
a Stake at the Creek, thence up the Creek with meanders of the same to J.T.
Colwick South line, thence West Poles South west corner of J.T. Colwick
land, thence North 85 poles to the beginning To have and to hold the same
to the said W.D. Colwick his heirs and assigns forever I do covenant with
the said W.D. Colwick that I am lawfully possessed of said land and have
a good right to convey it and that the same is unemcumbered. I do further
Covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant and
forever defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to the
said W.D. Colwick his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all
persons whatever. Given under my hand and seal this 2nd day of Sept. 1887.

and convey to J.T. Colwick and his heris forever for the consideration
of Four Hundred Dollars to me in hand paid a tract of land in the State
of Tennessee Decatur County District No. 12 containing by estimation 40
acres more or less and bounded as follows. Beginning at the Creek poles
West of B.F. Cary, North West corner runs East with B.F. Cary North
boundary line to a Hickory, thence east to a stake to the West boundary
line of the Newsom land, thence North with said line to the South east
corner of J.T. Colwick land, thence West with said line to the Creek,
thence South with said Creek to the beginning to have and to hold the same
to the said J.T. Colwick his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenanat
with the said J.T. Colwick that I am lawfully possessed of said land and
have a good right to convey it and that the same is unemcumbered, I do
further Covenant and bind myself my heirs and representatives to warrant
