Know all men by these presents that I Abel Watson Administrator of E.P.
Hill Deceased by virtue of the power in me vested by Law and in Compliance
with a bond executed by the Said Deceased in his lifetime on the 30th day
of September 1872 I hereby Transfer and convey to J.H. Hill his heirs
and assigns forever for the consideration in Said bond (to wit) Two
hundred and eighty Seven Dollars and fifty cents paid to the Said E.P.
Hill in his life time the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged all that
certain piece or parcel of Land containing 40 Acres more or less Situated
and lying in Decatur County Tennessee and Known and Designated as follows
(to wit) Beginning on the South East corner of the Jerry Johnson Land
Runs thence north 75 poles to a Stake thence west to Cub Creek thence
down Said creek with its meanders to Jerry Johnsons South Boundries line
thence East to the Beginning
The title to which Land I hereby bind the heirs of Said E.P. Hill to
warrant and forever Defend to the Said J.H. Hill his heirs and assigns
against the Lawful claims of all persons whomsoever as fully and
effectually as they could be bound by the Said E.P. Hill Deceased had he
Executed this Deed himself in his Lifetime according to the Power in me
vested witness my Signature this the 21 day of February 1876

Decatur County } Personally appeared before me John McMillan Clerk
of Said county Abel Watson Administrator of the Estate of E.P. Hill
Deceased the bargainor with whom I am personally acquainted who
acknowledged that he executed the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein
contained on the day it bears date Witness my hand at office this 21st
day of February 1876
