CORDELIA MAE (BRITTON) TAYLOR - 74, homemaker, died Sunday (1 Aug 2004) at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery near Scotts Hill. Mrs. Taylor, the widow of Floyd Houston Taylor, leaves two daughters, Faye Jordan and Wilma Griffin, both of Bells; four sons, Neal Taylor of Memphis, David Taylor of Southaven, Miss., and Connie Taylor and Allen Taylor, both of Bells; a sister, Thnea Mae Johnson of Brownsville, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

FLOYD HOUSTON TAYLOR , 68, retired farmer, died Sunday at HCA Regional Hospital in Jackson. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Brownsville Funeral Home with burial in Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery near Scotts Hill. He was a World War II Army veteran. Taylor, the husband of Cordelia Britton Taylor, also leaves two daughters, Ms. Faye Jordan and Ms. Wilma Griffin, both of Bells; four sons, Neal Taylor and David Taylor, both of Memphis, Connie Taylor and Allen Taylor, bo th of Bells; his mother, Mrs. Iva Smith of Laporte, Colo.; two sisters, Ms. Frances ColdIron of Laporte and Ms. Evelyn Britton of Dyersburg; two brothers, Sam Taylor and Fred Taylor, both of Bells, and nine grandchildren.

MILDRED H. THOMAS - Services for Mildred H. Thomas were June 16, 2008 at Parsons Mortuary. Burial followed in Bear Creek. Mrs. Thomas, 79, died June 14, 2008 at Decatur Hsp. Survivors include two sons, Danny Thomas, Henry TN and Ron Thomas, Lewisburg KY; two daughters, Sharron Traywick, Billings MT and Beverly Holiday, Cedar Grove TN; three sisters, Marie Gilbert and Shirley Collett both of Parsons, Carolyn Barker, Henry; seven grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Sheridan W. thomas; three brothers, Junior Hays, Dennis and Bud Hays and a ssiter Betty Barbon.

HERMAN S. TOLLEY - Funeral services for Herman S. Tolley were Friday. March 20, 2009 at Parsons Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed in Bible Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tolley, age 78 died March 18, 2009 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife. Geraldine Tolley. Survivors include five sons, Joe Kenneth Wilson, IN, Clarence Eugene Wilson, AR., Ronnie Wilson, AL., Sammy Mathis, Lewisburg, James Timothy Tolley, Nashville; one daughter, Patricia D. Maddox, Parsons, one step-daughter, Golden Hayes, Smyrna; two brothers, Marshall Tolley, Parsons, Leslie Tolley, AR.; one sister, Gertie Chumney, Parsons; three grandchildren.

BYRON GENE TOWNSEND - Funeral services were held for Byron Gene Townsend Sunday at Parsons Mortuary Chapel, burial followed at Parsons City Cemetery . Mr. Townsend, age 56 died on July 4 from an auto accident in Decatur County . Survivors include a daughter, Melanie Jean Townsend of Memphis ; 2 brothers, Danny Townsend and Curtis Townsend, both of Parsons; 4 sisters, Linda Jones and Penny Tucker, both of Decaturville, Susan Walker of Lexington , NC , and Peggy Norman of Parsons; and 1 granddaughter.

DONNIE TUBBS - Funeral services for Donnie Tubbs, age 45, of Holladay , were Monday, January 10 in the chapel of Decatur County Funeral Home. Burial followed in New Prospect Cemetery . Mr. Tubbs died Saturday, January 8 at his home. Survivors include his mother, Mary Helen Tubbs of Holladay and one sister, Kathleen Morgan of Lexington . He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Tubbs.

DON A. TUCKER - Funeral services for Don A. Tucker were Tuesday Sept. 23, 2008. Burial followed in Houston Cemetery. Mr. Tucker, 85, died September 22, 2008 in his home in Parsons. Survivors include one daughter, Pam Bates, Camden; and on grandchild.

BERTHA MAE TUTEN - Graveside services for Bertha Mae Tuten were Saturday APril 26, 2008 at Peach Chapel Cemetery, Reeds Chapel in charge. Mrs. Tuten, 93, died April 24, 2008. Survivors include one sister, Ruby Goff, Milan; one brother, Billy Pratt, Bradford and two grandchildren.

He is deceased by one brother, N.J. Tuten and four sisters, Mildred, Pauline, Mable and Sis. He is survived by hiswife, Norene Moore Box Tuten, a son Tracy Tuten ofBath Springs and two stepsons with nine grandchildren.
