Dickson County
Founded Oct 25, 1803 from parts of Montgomery and Robertson counties.  
It was named for William Dickson, a Nashville physician and U.S. congressman.

Its county seat is Charlotte, which contains Tennessee's oldest courthouse in continuous use - having been built in 1835.
