Nothing remains of the Big Springs Presbyterian Church. But if you look at the size of the group in this photo you have to see that it was quite a large community.

There used to be a Big Springs School. History tells us that the School was held at the Presbyterian Church and no records has been found just how many children went to school there but in 1897 enrollment was only about 20 children, at which time the school was closed. School was held in Big Springs from 1873 to 1898.

There used to be Big Springs Cemetery as well, only a few headstones can be seen.
