Oct the 9th 1881
The committee that was appointed to see bro Britt was called on to report. The com reported that they saw Bro Britt and called him to apprear and answer for him he failing to appear the Com was ordered to cite him to appear before the Session at its next meeting.

The Session met at 3.Oc PM Rev John H Day Moderator with Elders W. F. Brooks, Jackson Stewart and Marion Hart opened with Prayer by the moderator Sister Joyner of the Baptist Church on recommendation was received into full fellowship. M Joyner was elect Clerk of the Session and Deacon in connection with Elder W. F. Brooks the Session took recess until the 6th wheron Mary M Stewart was received by transfer from Chappel Spring no other business appering the Session was closed by prayer by the moderator

Hart opened by prayer by the moderator on motion Bros J Stewart & A. R. Hart were appointed to wait on Brother S. A. Barker and notify him to appear before the church session to answer charge of Drunkeness on Tuesday morning at 8 OC AM at Palestine with W. F. Brooks & Rev T. N. Roberts witness in the town of Lexington on several occasion no other business the session took recess at the will of the moderator Your committee wold report that from what we learn from responsible parties that he is in a pro?raded drunken spell that we deemed it unnecessary to visit him respectfully submitted

the session was call to order by the moderator and they into an election to represent the church in the fall session of the Madison Presbyterry to meet with the Bethleham congregation at Clay Brook Madison Co Tenn which resulted in the election of L. S Hart principle and M Joyner his alternate there being no other business the session adjourned by prayer

Hart alternate to represent the church at the next meeting of presbytery to held at Spring Hill begining on Friday before the fourth Sabbath in September next Bro W. F. Brooks was appointed princile and M Joyner alternate to represent to the seynod to be held at Jackson in October next then being no further buisness the session closed with prayer by L. H. Mcgee

Covy Brother Jackson Stewart was appointed to represent the church at the next meeting of Presbytery to meet at Lexington Tennessee on friday before the first Sabbath in March 1884 The comitte appointed to visit brothers J. F. Hart and George Britt and sisters S. E. Hart reported that they had visited them and Talked with Them about their unchristian conduct They did not manifest any spirit of repentance They were by request were droped from the roll then being no further buisness the session closed by Prayer by the moderaor

The session met Rev. T. H. McGee being present by request acted as Moderator. Members present W. W. Mullins, and L. Peddy, absent G. L. Wadley and Jackson Stewart. Opened with prayer by moderatir. W. W. Mullins was elected to represent the gongregation at the next meeting of presbytery to convene at Mount Tabor Church, Madison Co. on Saturday before 4th Sabbath in this month 11 o'clock A.M. with L. Peddy as alternate.
The session nominated the following brethern to the eldership; W. T. Veteto, J. H. Williams and A. F. Joiner.
The session adjurned with prayer to meet after services to night. Session met persuant to adjournment when the fornamed brethren were duly elected and installed as elders. No other business session adjourned with prayer.

The session of the Palestine Church met on the 16th November 1893 with the following Elders present Bro J. H. Williams, Bro A. F. Joyner and W. T. Veteto. Bro A. F. Joyner acted as moderator and opened the session with prayer. Bro W. W. Mullins asked that his name be taken off the Church book. After some discussion a motion with second to that effect was offered and sustained and said W. W. Mullins was droped from the role from our church book. Elder W. L. Stegall was appointed to attend the next meeting of the Presbytery and Elder M. H. Stewart his alternate. Elder R. H. Wheatly was recomend as agent for CP Publishing House. Elders W. T. Veteto and W. L. Stegall were appointed to confer with T. C. Bell asto whether he would preach for us the insueing year to make their report at the next session meeting. Elder R H Wheatley reported that sister Omah Stall was due repentant and asked the prayers & forgiveness of the chhurch. Elder W L Stegall asked for more time and an assestant to see sister L. M. Wadley. Time was granted and Elder J ? Tucker was appointed to assist him. Church dues were collected to the amount of $5.00 and the same were forwarded to Presbytery by Elder W L Stegall. There being no other business the meeting adjourned closed with prayer

It apearing that common fame charges Brother Newton Warde with unchristian conduct Elder R H Wheatley was appointed to confer with him and report at the next meeting. It appearing that common fame charges J L Taylor with Adultery the clerk was instructed to notify him to apear and give answer to said charges at the next meeting. Then adjourned closed with prayer.

Tucker offered a resolution as follows Resolved that the clerk be authorized to devide the membership of our church among the Elders thereof and each Elders be required to see/visit each member of his diocese at least once in than month to talk to and encourage them in the great work of the Masters cause and collect church dues Pastors salery and other fees from each member. Whereas Bro I N Warde has been visited by a committee for using vain language and promised to quit and has has persistently continued to use said language therefore be it resolved that it is the sense of this session that we suspend the said I N Warde from our church.

Holley Clerk proterm. Minutes of last meeting was read and approved. The report of brother Holley representivge to last meeting made his report which was received as satisfactory. On motion the session called Rev. J. H. Black to supply this Church with Word and ordanances the remainder of this year, on motion the session agree to pay Bro Black at the rate of fifty dollars a year. On motion the session appointed a committee consisting of M. H. Stewart, J. L. Hart and J. M. Holley to see Bro. A. F. Joyner charged with disorderly conduct and report to the next session. Bro. W. Talley being present acted as Moderator, and also opened session with prayer. The only business was to elect a delegate to presbytery, and W. T. Veteto was elected delegate and J. L. Hart alternate. That being all the business the session closed with prayer to meet again after Presbytery which is to meet with Sugar Tree cong.
