Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Wadley were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Bell Snider and Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Snider Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Scott spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Scott. They were all guests of Mrs. Sula Muse Sunday

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Weir Jr. were in Memphis Tuesday. Mrs. Weir remained for treatment and is a patient at Methodist Hospital. Ronnie Weir is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. guy Ward.

Miss Doris Lewis and Miss Mary Rhodes weer guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anderson Wednesday night. The group went to Natchez trace and enjoyed swimming Wednesday afternoon.

Jimmy Fesmire, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Houston Fesmire, is receiving medical aid because of an injury on his foot.

Miss Alarene Owens was guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bonnie Hamilton part of last week.

J.A. Tyler returned home Saturday from a hospital in Nashville where he spent part of last week undergoing examinations.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Houston Lyman Houston, and Miss Inez Scott attended the Farm Bureau picnic at Natchez Trace Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Buster Hamilton have been carrying their son, Kenneth Lavon, to a doctor for treatment of colitis.

Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Small and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Logan Azbill Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Melton visited Mr. and Mrs. Romey Melton adn family this week.

Miss Barbara Crownover and Inez Scott visited Miss Lona Scott Saturday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Pritt and Margaret were at Natchez Trace Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl House from Milan visited Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Small and family recently.

Mrs. Bill Greenway and daughter, Billie Jean, visited Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Hall and Betty Monday night.

Mrs. Lyman Houston has entered Jackson General Hospital for treatment.

School Notes by Eighth Grade:
Our school started Monday with perfect attendance. Several patrons attended. We think and hope we will have a very successful year. We wish to thank Mrs. Lyman Houston for the nice things she said about our school, teachers, pupils and community. We will miss her very much this year.
