Last news from Lisa Moody of the Judson Community, who has been sick for some time, still remains in a very low condition.

Well, the needed rain for the past weeks came yesterday afternoon, and the cool air this morning is highly appreciated after the last hot days for the past weeks.

Ollie Teague and wife of our burg were in Scotts Hill Sunday afternoon visiting friends.

Bill Wise and wife of Jacks Creek were Sunday visitors of Oder Harrington and family here Sunday.

Charlie Powers and family of Scotts Hill, George Teague and family of Jackson and were Sunday guests in the home ofMrs. Mary Teague and Willie.

Uncle John White of Crowell has been in the home of his son, Denver, of near Lexington the past week.

Born of J.T. White and wife of Crowell last week, a six and one half pound boy, who has been named Max ray. Mother and baby are doing fine and this writer is feeling a bit older as this is my 4th great grandchild.

Herbert Powers and family spent Friday night with Ellis Johnson and family and Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Powers attended the Masonic meeting at Chesterfield.

The writer attended the revival services at Crowell Sunday and visited in the various homes in the afternoon, Mr. Ollie Teague and family, Mrs. Mary Teague and Blane Johnson and family.

Rev. Arvin Rhodes closed a revival at Piney Church Saturday night with a good meeting. He is in a revival at Oak Grove Baptist Church this week. He will hold his revival at Judson Church beginning Sunday and all are cordially invited to come to all services.
