Mr. Joe Murphy of Parker's Cross Roads, was thrown from his mule near town on the day of the show, and was considerably injured. His injuries are not dangerous.

W.Dewey Carnal of near Parkers Cross Roads, was severly injured Wednesday morning of last week, when he was struck by a falling tree. His right arm was crushed and broken in the muscle, and his right leg was broken just above the ankle. He was rushed to the Webb-Williamson hospital in Jackson where his condition is reported to be satisfactory.
