At the age of 17 she auditioned for Van Cliburn and was invited to join the Louisiana Symphony. This invitation and many othrs came her way, but it was always her desire that her musical gift be used for God's glory. There was a time in her life when the public adulation became so great that she laid aside her performances;it was God's glory that she wanted, not her own. Over time, God gently brought her back to the piano and encouraged her to trust Him with her gift. Nancy left a legacy of music and faith to hundreds of piano students, musicians and many who hae been given the wonderful unexpected surprise of a talent beyond measure. Nancy's life was lived in trust, love and obedience to Jesus Christ. Her daily walk with Him was a tendeer testimony to her friends and family, all those who are now being comforted with the knowledge of her passing into glory. She was preceded by a son Church.
