Thomas Wesley Gurley was born about 1841 in TN - died 1898 in Madison County. His first marriage was to Christina C. Smith
who died in 1884. He married second to Chrissie Ann Tubbs, daughter of Samuel Jackson & Catherine (Grissom) Tubbs, born in 1857 -
she died in 1952 and is buried in Independence Cemetery, Henderson County.
